INTRALOT, supplier of lottery technology to the likes of the New Hampshire and DC lotteries, has announced the appointment of Christos Dimitriadis as the group’s new CEO following a board decision that will see current incumbent Sokratis Kokkalis step down from the role. 

In addition to his new job as Group CEO, Dimitriadis has also been elected to replace  Dimitrios Klonis as the executive member of the Board of Directors, with the former CEO Kokkalis remaining as Executive Chairman. 

Discussing his appointment, Dimitriadis stated: “I would like to thank the Founder of INTRALOT and Chairman of the BoD Mr S Kokkalis for the opportunity that he offers me to contribute from the position of the Group CEO. This is an honor and great responsibility.

Dimitriadis originally joined the firm in 2007 and since then has aided in the shaping of its technology strategy while managing the delivery of solutions and services to 47 jurisdictions worldwide. 

In addition to this, the new CEO has also built the company’s Enterprise Risk Management, innovation, cybersecurity, privacy, technology transformation and intellectual property protection frameworks.

Moreover, he has also accrued board experience and two terms as Chair of the Board of ISACA, a global non-profit association that serves professionals in 180 countries.

Kokkalis commented: “Following a transition period of reorganization during the last year, the company will evolve with emphasis in the digital technology, with Mr Dimitriadis as its new Group CEO. Mr Dimitriadis has a long experience with our company for the past 12 years and possesses in depth knowledge of the technologies in our industry. I wish him every success in his new role.”
