OpenBet has doubled down on its commitment to serving the lottery industry after it was accepted as a Gold Contributor of the World Lottery Association.

Owing to its reputation as a “trusted partner to lotteries worldwide”, OpenBet has been elevated into the upper echelons of the organization as it continues to provide its sportsbook solution for the lottery corps.

Commenting on the partnership, Jordan Levin, CEO at OpenBet, said: “We’re honored to become a Gold Contributor to the WLA. We’re reinforcing OpenBet’s commitment to the global lottery environment and we look forward to continuing to work alongside the WLA and its members.

“Our world-class technology, content and services power some of the biggest lottery brands in the industry. Becoming a Gold Contributor to the WLA will give us the opportunity to work in partnership with the industry to provide players with cutting-edge responsible products and technology.”

OpenBet serves a number of North American lotteries with sports betting technology including BCLC and Loto-Quebec, as well as a number of commercial operators such as FanDuel, BetMGM and DraftKings.

Meanwhile, OpenBet’s relationship with lotteries was boosted further earlier in the summer when the software provider acquired the Austrian responsible gambling tech firm Neccton, which has a string of European and North American lotteries on its client list.

By gaining Gold Contributor Status, OpenBet states that it will reinforce its commitment to safer gambling and anti-money laundering and fraud detections.

Luca Esposito, Executive Director at the World Lottery Association, said: “We are delighted to welcome OpenBet to the WLA as a Gold Contributor. It reflects OpenBet’s valuable contribution to the sector.

“This membership confirms the company meets the high standards we set to promote a safe, enjoyable, and responsible player environment.”
