The American Gaming Association (AGA) has announced two key events for next week – the publication of major research into new NFL sports data and the latest installment of its Get To Know Gaming program.

On September 4, the association will release new survey data on NFL sports betting behaviors ahead of the league kicking off its 100th season. It will also provide an overview of the current legal sports betting landscape and discuss what comes next for this rapidly expanding industry in America.

A press call will be held at 10.30 am ET to discuss in further detail the results of the survey which has been conducted by Morning Consult. Fielding questions will be Bill Miller, the AGA’s President and CEO.

On Thursday, the association takes its Get To Know Gaming initiative to Biloxi, where discussion will focus on the positive impact the gaming industry has on Mississippi communities. The event, which hosts a panel with regional gaming representatives, area community leaders and elected officials, will be live streamed on Periscope.

It will also serve to highlight the release of the AGA’s Casino and Communities: Mississippi research report which addresses how the state’s gaming operators invest in their communities and provide opportunities for economic development statewide.

The panel discussion, led by Miller, will begin at 9am CT and includes Mike Alise, Owner, Gulf Coast Produce; Casey Eure, Mississippi State Representative and Chair, Mississippi House Gaming Committee; Allen Godfrey, Executive Director, Mississippi Gaming Commission; Larry Gregory, Executive Director, Mississippi Gaming and Hospitality Association; John McFarland, Executive Director, SE Mississippi Chapter, American Red Cross; and Duncan McKenzie, General Manager, IP Casino Resort Spa.
