Sports broadcaster DAZN has made its entry to the Brazilian market, marking its first official launch in South America.
It sees DAZN expand its portfolio of markets to nine, now offering full access to its sports subscription platform in the country.
The launch is much anticipated, with DAZN already engaging the Brazilian fans by broadcasting exclusive football fixtures on social media in the run-up to its official market entry.
DAZN Executive Chairman, John Skipper commented on the launch: “Going live in Brazil is the latest milestone in the DAZN journey, marking our ninth market across four continents. At launch, DAZN has unveiled its content line-up for the nation that features top domestic and international football including; CONMEBOL Sudamericana, Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Serie A TIM, Serie BKT and Supercoppa Italiana, FA Cup, Ligue 1 Conforama, Domino’s Ligue 2 and Coupe de la Ligue, MLS, J-League and AFCON. Other top sports include; the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and British All-Star Championship basketball, Matchroom Boxing USA and Italy, WTA tennis, NTT IndyCar Series, Professional Fighters League and Glory Kickboxing.
