Slot machine producer Aruze Gaming America Inc has expanded its sales offices to Latin America and the Caribbean with a new division that will focus on offering product and services directly to these markets. The firm plans to phase in direct factory support over the next six to 12 months.

Heading up the new division is Michael Snyder who takes on the role of vice president and general manager of Latin America and the Caribbean. He will oversee Aruze’s operations in the new territories and his responsibilities will cover business development, sales strategies, marketing, product and service functions.

Justin Arcemont, managing director of global sales, stated: “The Latin America and Caribbean markets are key to Aruze’s growth plans in 2019 and we are very excited to bring the markets under our umbrella.”

Arcemont added that Snyder’s expertise will give Aruze the guidance needed to meet and exceed its goals. His career in the gaming industry spans over 30 years, most recently as an owner and operator in various properties in Ecuador, Peru, Columbia, Mexico, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
