Open Banking payments firm Trustly has linked with Station Casinos to become the exclusive payments provider for its new NFT marketplace.
The new platform, titled STN Charms, launched last March acting as a loyalty program for casino visitors. Under the terms of the agreement, Trustly will provide Station Casinos with digital deposits and withdrawals to and from the STN Charms wallets.
Players will earn digital charms as they play at the casino properties and, as they win, their STN Charms will increase in volume. Then, players can buy and sell the charms on the marketplace thanks to Trustly’s Open Banking platform.

A third party, CentralAMS, will be involved in the deal, as it will facilitate the digital wallets for Station Casinos and serve as merchant of record. Via this deal, CentralAMS has also taken on Trustly as its exclusive payment provider on the project.

Trustly has taken this partnership on board to expand its position in the gaming industry but also to provide “guaranteed deposits and withdrawals in users’ wallets within the STN Charms marketplace”.
