Resorts Casino Hotel, the first casino hotel to open in New Jersey, has celebrated a new milestone with the launch of its own sports book. Guests can place wagers on global sporting events while viewing the betting action on six windows and a 15-foot video wall in an interactive lounge area. This sports book will act as a temporary sports betting location, with a larger, permanent facility opening in the near future.

“As the birthplace of casino gaming in New Jersey, Resorts Casino Hotel is thrilled our state has authorised legal sports betting as this marks a great advancement for the gaming industry,” said Mark Giannantonio, president and CEO of Resorts Casino Hotel.

Resorts Casino Hotel has already forged partnerships between DraftKings and The Stars Group, and will roll out a third online sports betting option on by autumn 2018 through an alliance with SBTech. The addition of sports betting to will, claimed the company, fulfil Resorts’ third and final online skin, making it the only casino in Atlantic City with online and on-property sports betting.
