Racing and betting systems provider Sportech Plc has moved to strengthen its US trading provisions, utilising Sportradar sports betting solutions and risk management services.

Sportech confirmed yesterday that it will partner with Sportradar to utilise the group’s comprehensive sports betting technology systems, to service its US enterprise post-PASPA’s federal repeal.

The commercial agreement will see Sportech significantly expand its sports betting inventory, risk management resources and data tracking provisions across its existing network of 90 US licensed Neale Deeley VP Gaming Sales for Sportradar, said: “We are excited to partner with Sportech, who share our vision of how the US sports betting market will unfold and who are well positioned to capitalise on that market with their existing gaming licenses and strong customer base.  

“Sportradar’s turnkey solutions and market leading bookmaker services will accelerate their sportsbook offering and provide them with a strong advantage as other states pass sports betting legislation.”

In its latest industry update, Sportech governance stated that it would concentrate its entire business resources and strategy on developing and furthering its US market propositions.

Sportech is set to initially deploy Sportradar’s turnkey sports betting platform across its retail business in Connecticut when legislation permits.
