Colombia is gearing up for its first ever conference style event dedicated to addressing the issues surrounding the country’s newly regulated sports betting industry. Titled the Betting Sports Marketing Conference, the gathering will take place over two days at Bogota’s Estadio El Campin from May 7 to 8.

In addition to a world-class line-up of prestigious and experienced speakers, the event will incorporate a showroom where South America’s leading sports betting and gaming companies will be exhibiting their latest products and developments.

Prior to the opening day the organiser, LMG Eventos, part of the LATAM Media Group will host a high profile press conference. Chief among the topics to be aired will be sports integrity and how it affects the sports betting industry. Said the organiser: “The main directors of football clubs, betting executives, event sponsors and colombian and international media will be part of the presentation, giving national coverage.”
