Sports Information Services (SIS) is continuing to broaden its reach in North America behind a deal with Hard Rock Bet to provide esports betting content to players.
The European betting services and content provider announced on Tuesday an agreement with Hard Rock Bet to bring its portfolio of Head-to-Head Global Gaming League games to the online sports betting and casino operator. The deal provides Hard Rock Bet players with access to more than 225,000 eBasketball and eSoccer games offered annually by SIS.
SIS is adding a new operator partner through its Content Services segment, which secured a deal with Genius Sports in 2024 for the distribution rights of SIS esports products.
“We’re thrilled to partner with SIS to bring this premium offering to Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook and augment our always-on streaming entertainment,” said Hard Rock Bet SVP of Sportsbook Neil Walsh. “The addition of H2H Global Gaming League expands our already deep markets and esports offering, reinforcing our commitment to delivering innovative, engaging experiences that players can rely on around the clock.”
Hard Rock Bet is offering esports content from SIS that adheres to responsible gaming and player protection standards. In 2022, SIS Competitive Gaming was awarded the Esports Integrity Commission’s Gold Standard—the commission’s highest accreditation.
SIS reaches agreement with British operator bet365
Hard Rock Bet is diversifying its offerings after bet365 landed an eSoccer deal with SIS.
Last June, SIS announced a partnership with bet365 to provide the operator with its portfolio of eSoccer markets through the integration of the H2H Global Gaming League. The league adds up to a 10% in value to bet365 and other operators through its margin delivery.
Bet365 is offering SIS eSoccer markets after collaborating with the content provider in March 2024 to bring eBasketball markets to Kentucky. At the time, the deal provided SIS with access to three U.S. gaming markets. In 2022, SIS debuted its H2H Global Gaming League offerings in New Jersey through an agreement with bet365. SIS would later gain market access in Colorado after reaching a content distribution deal with Betsafe.
SIS makes personnel changes
Last month, the British company elevated Peter Camden to Head of Competitive Gaming Product after previously serving as a Sports Betting Product Manager. SIS also promoted Stephen Maguire and Aaron St Pierre to new roles. Maguire, a former SIS Regional Operations Manager, has been promoted to Head of Operations, while St Pierre assumed the role of Head of Sports Trading. St Pierre was previously a trader at DraftKings.
