An under construction tribal casino in North Carolina is partnering with an NFL franchise.

Catawba Two Kings Casino has secured a multiyear partnership with the Carolina Panthers as the forthcoming facility anticipates a grand opening in 2027. As part of the deal, the tribal casino will be promoted during football games at Bank of America Stadium, the Panthers’ home field since 1996. Catawba Two Kings, which has been operating a temporary casino outside of Charlotte, will have in-stadium signage throughout Bank of America Stadium. The casino will also be featured in ads shared through the facility’s scoreboard during every home game throughout the 2025 season.

“While our temporary casino has continued to gain in popularity since opening in 2021, many more people will learn about it at Panthers home games,” said Catawba Nation Gaming Authority Vice President Trent Troxel. “And the timing couldn’t be better as significant construction has been completed on our permanent casino resort and the partnership will still be in place when it opens.”

Catawba Two Kings and the Panthers are also teaming up to provide unique experiences.

Eligible fans attending Panthers home games will be able to enroll in Catawba Two Kings’ player loyalty program and have the opportunity to receive complimentary merchandise, trips, experiences and slot play at the casino. The Panthers will also be providing a select group Catawba Two Kings players the opportunity to attend home games this upcoming season in a 20-person luxury suite and lower-level seats at Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers are collaborating with Catawba Two Kings Casino after making FanDuel the team’s official sports betting partner last year. The multiyear agreement was secured ahead of North Carolina’s launch of online sports wagering in March 2024.

Catawba Two Kings’ billion-dollar development project

The tribal casino is preparing to open a new facility that is expected to cost $1 billion.

The new Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort will be 35 miles from Charlotte with a 24-story hotel that features 385 rooms. The project’s casino floor will have 4,300 slot machines and 11 dining outlets in a facility that is 2 million square feet. Catawba Two Kings Casino plans to open a portion of the casino floor to players as early as spring 2026.

The introductory casino will house 1,350 slot machines, sports betting kiosks and 20 table casinos. Once completed, the finished facility will provide over 2,000 job opportunities.
