FairPlay Sports Media is solidifying its footprint in artificial intelligence with the launch of a new business arm.
The sports media network has integrated its deep-learning neural network Quarter4 with its AI technology services to launch FairPlay AI. The rebrand of Quarter4 to FairPlay AI will operate under the company’s new FairPlay Technologies arm. FairPlay AI will house and deliver the company’s predictive and data services to its entire network of partners.
“When we launched FairPlay Sports Media, a priority was to integrate our various brand’s unique data assets and technical capabilities to spread their benefits across the FairPlay network and ultimately, improve the experiences of sports fans worldwide,” said Group CEO Stuart Simms. “The launch of FairPlay Technologies is the outcome of that successful operation.”
In addition to AI, FairPlay’s new business arm will also support data engines for pricing and customer behavior allowing it to provide engaging pre-game and in-game experiences.
FairPlay has launched its revamped AI product after acquiring Toronto-based Quarter4 in 2024. The deal marked the first acquisition for FairPlay as a business under Bruin Capital.
