The All-In Diversity Project has named PENN Entertainment as the top operator in its latest All-Index report, which details workplace inclusivity across the gaming industry.

The annual survey, open to all businesses in the global gaming industry, measures diversity, equity and inclusion efforts allowing companies to identify shortfalls, set goals and celebrate achievements. The All-Index report sets a score of 1-100 to determine a baseline and benchmark for future DEI efforts by companies across the gaming industry.

PENN scored as the top gambling company in the All-Index report followed by Entain and IGT. The All-In Diversity Project plans to release the exact scores of its report by mid-Q1.

“This year’s report not only ranks organizations but provides unprecedented insight into what differentiates top performers,” said an All-In Diversity Project spokesperson. “For the first time, we’re sharing detailed analysis of the specific practices, policies and initiatives that enabled higher-scoring organizations to excel.”

The project’s latest edition of its All-Index report takes a different approach from past evaluations by increasing participation from government regulatory bodies and smaller enterprises. The report also takes into consideration increased expertise from regional market specialists, independent consultancies and non-gambling organizations.

The shift in methodology allows the project to provide a comprehensive report that reflects actual diversity standards while maintaining its benchmarking process. The change also provides an analysis that includes organizational size, market and regional factors.

The latest All-Index report also found discrepancies in how the U.S., the U.K. and the Rest of the World approach DEI. The differences have caused the All-In Diversity Project to voice its desire for a “more localized interpretation of language and metrics” for DEI efforts.

Last year’s edition of the report saw Aristocrat claim the top spot with a 77 score. Betsson closed with the second-best score at 76 followed by Kindred and IGT at 74.
