Ahead of appearing at ICE Barcelona 2025, Justin Deutsch, Founder and CEO of Betstack, chats to SBC Americas about the company’s player account management platform and how it is being rolled out for casino operators this year.

Showcasing integrations with Light & Wonder, Oddsworks and Evolution, Betstack remains ready and focused on delivering its solutions for casino and sportsbook operators throughout 2025. In conversation with SBC Americas, Deutsch outlines why the technology works so well for casino, sweepstakes & crypto operators and why its modularity allows for maximum customization and futureproofing.

SBC Americas: Your aim is to provide a “one stop shop for everything an operator would need in sports and casino”. What does this one stop shop look like in terms of features and technology?

Justin Deutsch: Betstack is a GLI-33 certified technology platform that is robust whilst being highly customizable and efficient. Since our inception  five years ago, we have seen steady growth and are ready to enter additional new markets with our igaming partners.

The Betstack platform is powerful because of its core design and the creativity of the engineering team that have taken their 60+ years of experience and learnings, from building tier-one solutions in adjacent highly regulated industries to building a modular, customizable and stable solution for any geo. 

Our industry is dynamic and this requires solutions that allow us to continuously add features and third-party integrations fast whilst maintaining stability and competitiveness. What makes us stand out is the platform’s agility and our willingness to collaborate as true partners vs a transactional relationship.  

Not only is Betstack a one stop shop for everything an operator would need to get to market quickly, it is also focused on partnering with brands that have clear business objectives for growth & scale. Collaboration between marketing, operations, and trading teams is integral to the long term success of any igaming brand, but those teams can only go as far as the platform can take them and Betstack’s difference is the ability to quickly deliver feature requests from those stakeholders without sacrificing stability of the system. SBC: Why does Betstack feel like the casino space needs a shakeup on the platform and PAM front? Where do you feel the required improvements lie in modernizing the sector?

JD: The casino category is the high margin profitability vertical that allows igaming brands to significantly grow, provided they understand their target market and have the right offers and CRM solution for their target demographic. An alluring proposition that it is, also means a crowded market all vying for the same wallet share.

The two most important pillars of a PAM are to stay resilient and to incorporate new revenue generating features – quickly. We refer to Betstack as a “motherboard” internally because it does just that. Operator partners can always count on Betstack to be up and running. And when the brilliant minds in our industry launch a new ‘must-have’ product to attract end users, the Betstack platform is architected in a way to deliver integrated solutions quicker than the competition. 

Success three years from now will not be determined by current products that a platform has integrated today, but by the new products that a platform will need to integrate to stay ahead of the curve as time moves on. The question is, which platform can stay up to speed with the innovation happening in the rest of the industry? We’ve built Betstack to be that solution.

SBC: Betstack’s casino content & bonus offering includes the likes of Light & Wonder and Evolution. How significant is this for Betstack and what does it tell us about your launch in the industry?

By aligning with such renowned names, we’re able to offer end users high-quality content and innovative solutions right from the start.

This early momentum underscores our strategic approach to entering the market. It demonstrates our ability to form strong alliances and our dedication to setting a high standard for our platform. We built Betstack to be the gold standard of igaming platforms, thus we felt it paramount to integrate with the gold standard content providers. 

We also recognize that operators in different parts of the world have various preferences, regulations, and content requirements so we integrated the best solutions for each circumstance. We will continue to integrate more providers as our customers request them and the specific market demands them.

SBC: What makes the Betstack platform such a powerful one in the igaming space and what makes you stand out from the crowd? 

JD: From lengthy and meticulous architectural planning sessions to rigorous unit testing Betstack is primed to take on the biggest challenges the industry faces and resolve them with speedy delivery times. Additionally, typically regulated markets come with commercial implications driven from stake, bonusing and deposit limits for example. Such requirements impact margin and commercial viability which makes operators optimize costs by leaning heavily on the platform and technology they use.
