Sports social media marketing agency SGG Media has partnered with PlayAIO to bolster its Social Media Insights Engine (SMIE).

The SMIE helps SGG Media fully captialize on the value generated by social media data. Through the new collaboration, SGG will leverage PlayAIO’s ability to streamline social media data processing, enabling the firm to gather real-time insights, identify trends and unlock additional value across multiple platforms.

By centralizing this data, SGG Media says it will gain a more comprehensive understanding of audience behavior, allowing for enhanced decision-making and more efficient use of resources.

“PlayAIO is a data expert, and we want to enhance our reporting to our 30-plus social media advertising customers,” said SGG Media co-founder Troy Paul. “PlayAIO’s Social Media Insights Engine is designed to minimize manual work and increase efficiency by automating data collection and analysis from various social channels, which will be hugely valuable as we continue to build on our reputation for offering the most cost-effective way to reach the next generation of sports fans.”

SGG boasts an extensive network of 2,500 sports micro-influencer content creators and 75 million followers. It uses its network to promote operators and brands in the industry.

“We’re excited to partner with Troy and his team on this innovative project,” added PlayAIO CEO Joshua Gibbs. “Our Social Media Insights Engine empowers businesses like SGG to make faster, data-driven decisions. This partnership also reflects PlayAIO’s commitment to providing solutions that drive true business value for businesses by simplifying complex data and delivering actionable insights in real-time.”

SGG has struck other deals in 2024 to boost its network.

In February, it teamed up with Pro League Network (PLN) to help market the league network’s portfolio of sports content.

And in March, it collaborated with PlayStar Casino to launch a new show, Casino Stream, that marked the operator’s first foray into livestreaming media. The show, broadcast weekly on Twitch, features a trio of New Jersey-based streamers playing a variety of casino games that are available on PlayStar’s platform.
