The NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights have teamed up on a marketing and fan engagement partnership with the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas signage will be displayed throughout the Golden Knights’ T-Mobile Arena home and during the team’s TV broadcasts, and new fan experiences will be hosted by Fontainebleau. In particular, Fontainebleau will give fans opportunities to watch all Golden Knights games at The Tavern, the resort’s sports viewing experience and the gateway to its sportsbook.

“This is a natural partnership between two premium brands in our fantastic city,” said Vegas Golden Knights President and CEO Kerry Bubolz. “Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a resort that captures the energy and extravagance of our city, just like the experience of a Vegas Golden Knights game. We are so excited to welcome Fontainebleau to the VGK family.”

“We are honored to be teaming up with the legendary Vegas Golden Knights to bring elevated viewing experiences throughout the resort. This is sure to be a game-winner for our local and visiting hockey fans,” added Fontainebleau Las Vegas President Maurice Wooden. “Like our Las Vegas community, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is extremely proud to support the Vegas Golden Knights and cannot wait for the puck drop on the 2024-25 season.”

Other NHL teams partner with casinos

The Golden Knights aren’t the only NHL team to strike a new deal with a Vegas operator this year.

In June, the Chicago Blackhawks announced a multi-year partnership agreement with Circa Sports that will see the Vegas sportsbook emblazoned on the franchise’s home jerseys beginning next season. Circa is the first game jersey partner in the team’s history.

Circa is also an existing jersey sponsor partner of the Golden Knights.

Hockey teams adding betting companies’ names to their uniforms has been an increasingly common sight in recent times since the NHL introduced a rule allowing jersey sponsors for the start of the 2022-23 season.

The Washington Capitals have an extensive deal with Caesars that includes a jersey logo, while the Arizona Coyotes were sponsored by Gila River Resorts & Casinos.

In Canada, Play Alberta, the only regulated online gaming operator in Alberta, is now the home jersey sponsor of both the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames.
