IGT has secured a new deal to provide its lottery services in Colorado.
The London-based gaming giant announced on Monday that its subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation has agreed to a seven-year contract with the Colorado Lottery to provide its products and solutions to operators and players in the Centennial State.
As part of the pact, the Colorado Lottery will be replacing its current central system with IGT’s Aurora system. The system, part of IGT’s OMNIA integrated lottery solution, aims to improve marketing communications behind new data insights through single player views.
“IGT is thrilled to continue working with the Colorado Lottery and delivering high-performing products that will contribute to growing its business,” said IGT Global Lottery COO Jay Gendron in a statement. “OMNIA, along with the upgrades to retailer equipment and new mobile convenience app, will provide the Lottery with actionable data and tools to manage daily operations and offer players with enhanced retail and mobile experiences.”
IGT and the Colorado Lottery’s new deal also includes retail operations in the state.
Their partnership will see IGT replace all retail lottery equipment in Colorado and provide players in the state with a new mobile app that offers scan and redeem functionality. The features allow players to withdraw winnings to their bank accounts via ACH transfer.
Colorado adds to IGT lottery markets
The British company started the year expanding the reach of its lottery offerings.
In January, IGT agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Virginia Lottery. The deal, also through IGT Global Solutions, includes central system and point-of-sale hardware upgrades. The agreement also includes three, one-year extension options.
IGT Global Solutions is also enhancing operations in the Magnolia State after its parent company landed a three-year contract extension with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation. IGT is also launching a mobile app and installing new self-service terminals.
As of July 8, IGT provides lottery services to 26 of America’s 46 regulated lottery markets.
