Flutter Entertainment is being recognized by one of the world’s most esteemed publications.
TIME announced on Thursday the naming of Flutter as one of the publication’s 100 Most Influential Companies of 2024. Flutter, considered a “Pioneer” by TIME, was placed on the list after a collection of nominations and polls that included contributors and correspondents from across the world.
“I am enormously proud of everyone across our global business for working so tirelessly to make Flutter the fantastic company it is today,” said Flutter CEO Peter Jackson. “Receiving this recognition from TIME offers a well-deserved moment to reflect on our recent successes as we fix our sights firmly on our next phase of growth.”
Flutter has made TIME’s fourth annual list following a strong 12 months.
The Ireland-based company generated $12 billion in revenue in FY2023, a 25% increase year-over-year. Flutter, which averages 12.3 million active monthly players globally, reported continued revenue growth to start a new fiscal year. In Q1 2024, the FanDuel owner posted $3.4 billion in revenue. The results were a 16% uptick compared to Q1 2023.
Flutter also further solidified its presence in America with its listing on the New York Stock Exchange last month. In preparation for the listing, Flutter delisted from Euronext Dublin to minimize regulatory scrutiny as it also lists on the London Stock Exchange.
Flutter was the only gambling-centric company included in TIME’s list for 2024.
