BetMGM have raised the stakes on their partnership with renowned professional poker player Darren Elias by extending his role as a BetMGM Poker brand ambassador.
Elias is a four-time World Poker Tour champion, winning the WPT more times than any other player. During his career, he has amassed more than $20 million in combined live and online poker tournament winnings.
Elias has been a brand ambassador for BetMGM since 2021. Represented by Above the Felt Entertainment, he will continue to represent BetMGM Poker as the brand continues its mission to deliver high-quality online and live poker experiences across North America.
He will remain a visible part of BetMGM’s online poker campaign as well as continue to represent BetMGM Poker at major tournament festivals, engaging with poker fans, and providing insights for BetMGM Poker players. He will expand that latter responsibility by starting to contribute content to BetMGM’s ‘The Roar’ sports betting blog.

BetMGM nominated for multiple SBC Awards North America
Meanwhile, BetMGM, this reigning SBC Awards North America Casino Operator of the Year, has been nominated for two awards at the 2024 ceremony.
The gaming and betting giant will look to defend its Casino Operator of the Year title and is also among the nominees for Employer of the Year. In addition, CEO Adam Greenblatt is up for Leader of the Year.
The SBC Awards North America recognize the achievements and contributions of operators, affiliates, suppliers and tribes who are driving innovation and pushing the gaming industry forward in the North American market.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on the evening of Thursday, May 9 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. They will close out the SBC Summit North America 2024, which will take place May 7-9, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey.
