Gambling monitoring company U.S. Integrity has added a new member to its leadership team.
Former Sharplink Chief Technology Officer Dave Abbott has joined U.S. Integrity as the company’s Chief Product Officer. Abbott, who has more than 20 years of experience in the sports technology and gaming industries, will help bolster U.S. Integrity’s services, which identify suspicious behavior and instances of fraud in betting. The company has a portfolio of clients that includes the NFL, NBA, MLB, UFC and the PGA Tour. U S. Integrity also has partnerships with gambling operators DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM and Caesars.
“Dave’s broad experience building real-time sports and gaming data products aligns with U.S. Integrity’s mission to maintain the integrity of sports through data analysis,” said U.S. Integrity CEO Matthew Holt. “Dave brings valuable experience productizing data that will provide our customers a new level of visibility and confidence into their operations.”
Abbott is the co-founder of digital content producer SportsData LLC, which was acquired by Sportradar in 2014. Before Sharplink and his new role at U.S. Integrity, Abbott also spent time at Sportradar as the company’s Managing Director of U.S. Media.
U.S. Integrity broadens its reach
In October 2023, U.S. Integrity agreed to merge with consultancy firm Odds On Compliance to create the “first global compliance and integrity solution.” The two companies previously worked together to launch ProhiBet, which monitors illicit betting activity from prohibited personnel. ProhiBet has secured deals with PrizePicks, Underdog Fantasy and Circa Sports.
ProhiBet also offers services to college athletic conferences, including the Mountain West.
