An online casino platform is solidifying a presence in the Michigan gaming market.

Strive Gaming has secured a partnership with Four Winds Casinos to provide the tribe-owned gaming company with online gaming services in the Wolverine State. Four Winds, which is owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, operates three retail casinos in Indiana and Michigan. The company gained online market access in Michigan for iGaming and sports betting in 2021 and will now leverage Strive’s technology, customer services, and tools for its offerings.

“We are pleased to welcome Strive Gaming as a new partner,” said Interim Four Winds COO and CFO Clayton Mason. “Strive provides unrivaled technology and the depth of online gaming experience we can rely on. We look forward to creating an even more exciting and engaging online casino experience for our guests.”

Strive, which only offers services in North American markets, has landed a deal with Four Winds after receiving a provisional internet gaming supplier license in Michigan earlier this month. The Vancouver-based company also earned ISO 27001 certification — an international standard for information security.

Four Winds adds to a growing list of new partners for Strive. Last month, Strive agreed to a strategic partnership with PointsBet. As part of the deal, PointsBet will be using technology provided by Strive to diversify its content and improve its iGaming experience. In 2021, PointsBet launched its initial iGaming operations in Michigan. PointsBet will also use Strive’s services to bolster its iGaming operations in Ontario — the most populous province in Canada.

“Strive is for operators targeting the entire North American region, so both Canada and the U.S.,” Strive CMO Jamie Shea told SBC Americas last year. “Ontario has proved to be hugely successful, and we’re here to help operators make a play in the market.”

Strive’s clients also include gambling companies Golden Nugget, Desert Diamond, and Betsafe.
