PlayStar has penned a deal with online casino supplier Wazdan to integrate its titles into its platform in New Jersey

Under the terms of the agreement, Wazdan titles such as 9 Coins, Sun of Fortune, Hot Slot: Mystery Jackpot Joker, Sizzling Kingdom: Bison, Magic Spins and Power of Gods: Hades will be available for PlayStar players in the Garden State.

The integration will be completed via the Light & Wonder OpenGaming platform allowing a seamless plug-in, meaning that PlayStar can easily add the new titles into its platform.

Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan: “Our growth in New Jersey has been extremely positive for us, and we’re delighted to be partnering with our latest operator in the state.

“Our engaging, immersive content has proven to be a hit with players and we’re looking forward to delivering even further great experiences to end users.”

PlayStar is just the latest online casino to add Wazdan titles to its platform in the Garden State. Other operators to leverage its titles include DraftKings, Rush Street Interactive and Tipico, as the slot provider aims to create a strong position in the US online casino markets.

Dan Alexander, Chief Operating Officer at PlayStar, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Wazdan, which has emerged as a leading provider of titles across New Jersey. Facilitated by Light & Wonder, it’s been a seamless integration period, and we’re confident our players will love Wazdan games.”

SBC Americas spoke to PlayStar Chief Marketing Officer Jon Bowden about how the operator can compete in a hugely competitive market such as New Jersey.

Despite only launching in 2022, the operator has embarked on a localization and personalization strategy in a bid to create a strong user experience and therefore player retention.
