Fanatics Sportsbook has signed a deal with Paysafe to leverage its platform to power payments on its sports betting platform.
Under the terms of the deal, Paysafe will integrate its technology into the Fanatics Sportsbook platform, allowing players to use traditional card payments and other alternative payment methods.
Consequently, Fanatics’ bettors in Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Tennessee can seamlessly deposit into accounts using their debit card via the Paysafe payment gateway. The gateway also allows for fast payouts and withdrawals.
Zak Cutler, President of Global Gaming at Paysafe, said: “With the stature of the Fanatics brand in the sports world, we’re proud to partner with Fanatics Betting and Gaming to provide Fanatics Sportsbook and its customers with an unparalleled payments experience.
“We’re confident that our ‘all in one’ payment solution will exceed the transactional expectations of Fanatics Sportsbook’s diverse customer base and support the brand’s growth in its current and future markets.”
The two companies stated that, subject to regulatory approval, the deal will expand to more states as Fanatics continues to rollout across the country following its acquisition of PointsBet US.
Partnering with Paysafe further bolsters the technological capabilities of the Fanatics Sportsbook, which has been boosted by the Banach pricing technology it inherited in the PointsBet acquisition.
Meanwhile, the Fanatics Sportsbook is powered on the Amelco sportsbook software.
Kathleen Boord, SVP of Strategic Operations at Fanatics Inc., commented: “We’re excited about our continued partnership with the team at Paysafe. Their single integration has allowed us to move quickly and has provided us with flexibility that ensures we’re allowing our customers to transact with their preferred payment options.
“We look forward to the ongoing collaboration with Paysafe as we continue to build on our strong foundation and create the best experience for our fans.”
