MGM Resorts has partnered with the United Services Organizations and American Airlines to host the Salute to the Troops Day later this week.

Beginning on November 10, the United Service Organizations Experience: Salute to the Troops is a five-day celebration marking over 100 active-duty armed force service members who have been injured in the field.

Following the agreement, the celebration will take place at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, one of MGM’s properties on the Las Vegas Strip.

“We are deeply grateful for the commitment and sacrifice that members of the armed forces and their families continue to make for our nation,” said MGM Resorts CEO & President, Bill Hornbuckle

“In recognition of their bravery and dedication, we are honored to extend a world-class guest experience as a tribute to these remarkable heroes.”

Now in its 13th year of action, the Salute to the Troops celebration will feature a variety of activities throughout the week, including excursions around Las Vegas and southern Nevada.

Moreover, events include a welcome dinner, tours of the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon as well as a visit to Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef Aquarium, Luxor’s Blue Man Group and more.

MGM has been a long-term sponsor and host of the event as part of its mission to provide support for US military servants and their families. Further MGM activities include actively employing military men and women at its properties. It is in the top 25 companies for employing veterans, per the Military Times’ 2022 Best for Vets list.
