BetMGM has announced the launch of the Borgata Arcade online casino platform in New Jersey as it aims to diversify its offering in the Garden State.

Borgata Arcade is a hub for “non-traditional igaming content” including LuckyTap content, as well as scratch games, Slingo, and game-themed slots.

Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM, stated: “Borgata Arcade offers an all-in-one place for players to find their favorite games. From the traditional shopping mall arcade to its popularity in home consoles, the arcade continues to evolve as BetMGM now brings it to life in iGaming.”

Initially, the Borgata Arcade boasts over 120 titles including Slingo titles and over 40 game-themed slots such as Monopoly, Space Invaders, and Ghostbusters Triple Slime.

Players who sign up for the BetMGM Borgata Arcade app and spend $20 on a single game will be eligible for a “Pick a Power-Up” prize board, that offers the chance to select an arcade-themed power-up and win bonuses of up to $1,000.

Angus Nesbitt, VP of Gaming at BetMGM, explained: “Borgata Arcade combines familiar titles that have enjoyed decades of success at brick-and-mortar casinos with games exclusively available online. The selection truly captures the fun and excitement of an arcade, and we look forward to bringing it to even more of our customers soon.”

Yesterday, BetMGM joint parent company Entain reported that the business continues to hold a strong position in the online casino market in the US, with 26% market share and 18% combined online casino and sports betting share. It is aiming to increase this figure to 20-25% over the next three years.
