SBC is set to welcome around 3,000 delegates from the Latin American sports betting and online casino industry to Miami next week for SBC Summit Latinoamerica

The annual event dedicated to Latin American market developments returns to Miami for 2023 but has doubled in size from 2022. The event takes place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.

SBC Summit Latinoamerica will play host to influential decision-makers from regional and global operators, affiliates and suppliers as well as regulators, media, and sports teams representatives.

As Latin America continues to be one of the most exciting regions in the world for sports betting and igaming with regulatory frameworks being established, there are ample growth opportunities for operators and suppliers alike.

Firmly on the agenda are the regulatory updates from Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Argentina, among others. Additionally, the event will shed light on both current and future industry trends that are reshaping the dynamics of the diverse Latin American markets.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC said: “I am extremely proud to see that SBC Summit Latinoamérica has emerged as the central hub for collaborative discussions and forward-thinking approaches for the region. Given the multitude of evolving markets in Latin America, it is pivotal that we cultivate an environment where delegates can capitalize on existing opportunities and contribute to the dynamic development and expansion of an exceptionally fruitful region.”

Spanning November 1 and November 2, the core event days will see the conference agenda divided across three simultaneous rooms. It will include various dedicated tracks, covering leadership, sports betting products, emerging markets and technology, sports teams and media, payments and compliance, affiliates and advertising, and player protection.

November 1 marks the start of the agenda with a keynote fireside chat featuring Julio Cesar Tamayo, CEO of WPlay, in a discussion with Dr. Evert Montero Cárdenas, President of Fecoljuegos. Together, they will analyze the industry’s role in the global economy, shedding light on its susceptibility to political and economic changes and its potential to drive increased value within communities.

On Day Two, BetWarrior CEO Zeno Ossko and Mariano Zabaleta, former professional tennis player and current VP of the Argentine Tennis Association take the keynote spot as they explore the connections between operators and sports teams and associations.

The conference schedule, delivered by over 150 speakers, will address pivotal topics, including strategies for capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the Brazilian market as regulations evolve, the establishment of trust within Latin American markets, effective entry strategies, and a comprehensive understanding of the key principles for successful customer acquisition and retention in Latin America.

It will also explore how the digital domain can draw insights from land-based industry leaders, the collaborative potential of the industry with sports teams to expand its outreach, the development of esports in the region, navigating existing advertising restrictions, and a series of panels dedicated to player protection, among numerous other vital subjects.

The exhibition floor will feature a lineup of 70 exhibitors, including prominent operators like Betcris, Bet7k, and Condor Gaming, affiliates such as Better Collective, MediaTroopers, KeyAffiliates, and BETANDEAL, game providers like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Pascal Gaming, Barbara Bang, and Red Rake Gaming, along with sportsbook software providers like Altenar and Betby

“With its comprehensive agenda encompassing crucial industry discussions and a vibrant exhibition floor featuring the finest regional technologies and services, I am confident that every attendee will depart from the summit equipped with the right tools to make significant strides in the region,” Sojmark added.
