DraftKings opens TPC Scottsdale sportsbook with PGA Tour

DraftKings and the PGA Tour have held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale in Arizona

Leaders representing all parties of the development were at the event, including TPC Scottsdale General Manager and Regional Director of Operations Brad Williams, PGA Tour Vice President of Gaming, Scott Warfield, and DraftKings CCO, Jen Aguiar

The 13,000-square-foot sportsbook opened following the construction of the space which began in May 2022. The sportsbook boasts 32 betting kiosks, 3,400 square feet of video walls and six ticket windows. There is lounge seating and VIP spaces in the gaming area offering guests the option to socialize and watch live sports action.

“It’s an exciting day and we’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of the DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale, a location that showcases the special collaboration between DraftKings and PGA Tour while featuring a number of customer-centric amenities true to the DraftKings brand,” said Jason Robins, DraftKings’ Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder.

The ceremony also had a star-studded lineup with former Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald placing the ceremonial first bet, while former NFL player and current DraftKings Network media personality Mike Golic provided entertainment at the event.

The DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale marks the opening of the first sportsbook at a PGA Tour destination meaning fans can place bets on-site for the first time. 

As well as betting and lounge spaces, the sportsbook offers a plethora of other amenities such as a dining room, and a large indoor-outdoor bar with custom craft cocktails and beers.
