Bally’s Corporation has revealed the expanded Bally’s Kansas City land-based property, marking the biggest investment it has made in the midwest property since acquiring it in 2020.

The expanded venue now has over 35,000 square feet of new gaming and retail space, with over 200 new games installed and a new high-limit slot area built.

Further improvements to the space include additional gaming space on the second floor and a new commercial center that features a Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar with further space for additional dining and retail establishments.

As well as making improvements to the indoor space and gaming areas, Bally’s has invested to spruce up the exterior, with new lighting elements as well as a series of steel frames and fabric panels. There are also new entrances around the property, saving patrons from walking to a singular main entrance.

Michael Donovan, Bally’s Regional Vice President & General Manager for the Midwest, explained: “We are very excited to unveil a transformed Bally’s Kansas City. From the moment guests arrive, they will be greeted with enhanced dining and gaming experiences.

“We are grateful for the collaborative work of the city and the hundreds of union members who played a critical role in bringing this expansion to reality over the past two years.”

Marking the expansion of the casino, Bally’s President George Papanier, alongside further company representatives and Pete Ciarrocchi, Founder of Chickie’s and Pete’s, and other guests attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the main entrance of Bally’s Kansas City.

Bally’s acquired the property in 2020 when it was known as Isle of Capri and this investment is the biggest so far though other improvements have been made in the past.

The property, as well as being rebranded, has added amenities such as 1800 Baccarat Lounge and the Celebrity Casino & Lounge, which offers over 30 slot machines in an exclusive gaming lounge.
