FanDuel has penned a deal with IMG Arena to utilize its Golf Event Centre in a bid to improve its betting offering for PGA Tour events.
Beginning August 10 with the FedEx St Jude Championship, the deal sees FanDuel integrate the IMG Arena Golf Event Centre into its app to offer live, in-game betting options for golf fans.
Markets made available include closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, number of birdies, and stroke-by-stroke bets. Moreover, the Golf Event Centre will offer fans the ability to track each shot in real-time with the data visualization experience, which enables visuals of the course map and hole profiles.
“As an Official Betting Operator of the PGA TOUR, we’re continually looking for innovative ways to elevate the golf betting experience on our platform for fans during their favorite tournaments,” said Christian Genetski, President, FanDuel Group.

Marking the deal and the FedEx St Jude Championship, FanDuel is offering promotions for fans, including a 25% profit boost on any bet placed on a live market during the tournament. The operator will also offer fans who show a bet slip the chance to make a bunker shot for an opportunity to win $5000 in bonus bets.
