Sports betting platform provider Altenar has penned a deal with nVenue to leverage the firm’s micro-betting technology.

Under the terms of the agreement, Altenar will integrate nVenue’s micro-betting technology into its platform to elevate the product offering available to operator client partners.

Aiming to “revolutionize how fans engage with sports betting”, the deal emphasizes the growing need for innovation in the sports betting space.

Antonis Karakousis, Director of Operations at Altenar, said: “We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with nVenue, a trailblazer in the sports technology sector.

“Through the fusion of our cutting-edge platform and nVenue’s distinctive micro-betting technology, our objective is to elevate the sports experience for enthusiasts and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the industry.”

Following the collaboration, operators using the Altenar platform will be able to offer customers nVenue’s microbetting engine, which allows users to place real-time, in-play wagers on specific moments and player performances.

nVenue has been expanding its reach in the US sports betting market recently, with Altenar joining SB22 as a new platform provider client.

Jeremy Jones, Chief Revenue Officer of nVenue, said: “We are excited to join forces with Altenar, a recognized leader in the sports betting space.

“This partnership emphasizes the increasing popularity of micro-betting as a vital feature in the world of betting, essential for any major sportsbook. Micro-betting has transformed how fans engage with live sporting events, and we are delighted to collaborate with such a dynamic partner to accelerate its widespread adoption.
