Greentube has once again entered a new US igaming jurisdiction, unveiling its license to operate in Connecticut.

Having secured an online gaming service provider license from the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, the Novomatic digital division can now partner with operators to distribute its titles across the state.

Following regulatory approval, Greentube titles such as Diamond Cash: Mighty Emperor, Diamond Cash: Mighty Elephant, Diamond Cash: Mighty Sevens, and Diamond Cash: Oasis Riches, as well as other games developed specifically for US players will soon be available in the market.

Connecticut marks the third state that Greentube is operational following market approval in both Michigan and New Jersey. The Constitution State opened up to both igaming and online sports betting in October 2021 and is still a growing market, having posted record revenues of $1.16bn in December 2022.

Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube, said: “North America continues to be a key region for us, and in gaining a third US state license, we have achieved an important step in our growth journey.

“There is major potential within the US market and having acquired additional development capabilities to cater to local players, we believe we are well-placed to serve the market with premium content.

“We are looking forward to teaming up with operators in Connecticut and can’t wait to see how players in the state react to our portfolio.”

Greentube also disclosed that it aims to launch in Pennsylvania in the coming months as it aims to build momentum in the US.
