Casino industry veteran Greg Carlin has launched a new company called G2 Gaming, which will “pursue opportunities across the gaming spectrum”.

Carlin begins his new venture having already amassed over 25 years of casino gaming experience in development, operations, and online gaming, as well as community integration, team member culture, operational excellence, player experience, and financial performance.

The former Rush Street Interactive (RSI) CEO and Co-Founder, who left the company back in January, is launching G2 Gaming with a leadership team that has a combined industry experience of over 150 years across the sectors of operations, game design, technology, and marketing.

Commenting on the new company launch, Carlin said: “It’s an exciting time for our industry and the entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.

“As emerging jurisdictions come online and existing markets recalibrate for ever-changing conditions, there are endless opportunities in both the physical and digital casino space.”

Alongside being the CEO and Co-Founder of RSI, Carlin also fulfilled the same roles at Rush Street Gaming, helping the firm build itself up through the development of seven land-based casinos across the US and Canada.

He is also a long-standing board member of the American Gaming Association.
