SciPlay has confirmed the appointment of Light & Wonder executive Jim Bombassei to its board, as he is set to join as the firm’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer this December.
An experienced investor relations and financial exec, Bombassei is currently SVP of Investor Relations at Light & Wonder, where he leads the global firm’s IR strategy and comms output.
Heading to SciPlay, a former subsidiary of Light & Wonder’s previous entity Scientific Games, Bombassei will direct the company’s financial operations and assist the leadership team on a strategy to drive growth and create further value.

Before his time at Light & Wonder, Bombassei held multiple roles in the entertainment industry over the last 20 years including at Paramount Global, where he was SVP of Treasurer & IR. Holding an MBA in Finance from NYU, he began his career at Ernst & Young in the firm’s Audit practice.
