BetMGM has agreed to a multi-year sports betting partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs as the state of Kansas soft launches its sports wagering market.

Under the terms of the deal, the Chiefs’ home field, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, will feature BetMGM signage.

Content from the operator will also be distributed across the team’s digital channels, including special offers, game day experiences, and prizes for fans and season ticket members.

“With a rich history and a passionate fan base, the Kansas City Chiefs are an ideal partner,” commented Matt Prevost, Chief Revenue Officer at BetMGM.

“As we launch our sports betting platform in Kansas, we look forward to elevating the game day experience for Chiefs fans throughout the region.”

Earlier this week, and in partnership with Kansas Crossing Casino, BetMGM went live with its mobile sportsbook in the Sunflower State as part of the market’s soft sports betting launch. The operator now has mobile and retail offerings in 24 markets.

However, the Chiefs play in Kansas’ neighboring state of Missouri, which is yet to legalize sports betting.

Chiefs President, Mark Donovan, added: “As an industry leader in the space, we are excited to welcome BetMGM to the Chiefs Kingdom.

“We have invested significant time and energy advocating for sports wagering legislation and today’s announcement is going to open the doors for our fans to add to their experience for the 2022 season and beyond.”
