Betfred Sports has selected OpenBet to power its digital and retail sportsbook offering in Iowa.

Located inside the Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort, the 3,500-square-foot Betfred Sportsbook is now powered by OpenBet’s retail solutions which include betting counters and self-service kiosks.

The sports betting technology firm also supplies the “perfect omni-channel experience” to the sportsbook, allowing its customers to wager on different channels with several betting options including parlays, in-game wagering, teasers, futures, and player props.

Moreover, Betfred’s product offering will utilize OpenBet’s sports betting engine which can seamlessly process several bets at scale.

“We are delighted to once again be partnering with Betfred Sports, with our previous launches in Arizona, Colorado, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania generating huge success,” commented Cathryn Lai, Chief Commercial Officer at OpenBet.

“This deal is once again testament to our outstanding modular portfolio which is able to consistently meet the demands of the market, earning an accomplished reputation throughout the industry. Betfred Sports remains a valued partner of ours and we look forward to providing yet more exciting and responsible experiences for its players.”

Last month, OpenBet grew its presence in Arizona after agreeing to supply retail sports betting solutions to Casino Arizona in Scottsdale and its sister property, Talking Stick Resort.

Bryan Bennett, COO at Betfred Sports, added: “OpenBet’s products and technology perform consistently across our existing locations, so naturally we entrusted the company to power our offering in Iowa.

“We first launched in Iowa in 2020, and we look forward to working with OpenBet to continue building on that success.”
