Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has sealed an additional agreement with an unnamed existing partner, via its subsidiary Sportnco Gaming, to go live with its sportsbook in Colombia.

The deal will also see GiG provide its player account management (PAM) in Colombia, making it the third regulated market where it delivers both software and services to the client.

“The growing demand is a clear sign that we have created a sportsbook solution that is recognized as an industry leader within the igaming industry,” commented Hervé Schlosser, Managing Director of Sportnco.

“It makes us very proud that a leading tier one operator has once again placed trust in our technology and services for another market. We are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with our long-term partner within Colombia.”

While Sportnco is already active in Colombia with its PAM for another client, the new deal marks the first launch of the sportsbook in Colombia, allowing the tier 1 operator to go live with the full end-to-end software offering.

According to H2 Gambling Capital, the Colombian jurisdiction reported online gross profits at $420m in 2021, a 120% increase year-over-year. 56% of its 2021 profits came from sports betting.

Earlier this month, GiG signed a head of terms agreement with Crab Sports which will allow it to offer its platform and sportsbook to the US sports betting brand in Maryland.
