Xpoint confirms five senior role hires to strengthen global presence

Xpoint has made five new senior role hires to strengthen the company’s global presence in compliance, marketing, product, and sales.

Xpoint, a geolocation and compliance technology firm specializing in US sports betting and igaming markets, has made five new senior role hires to strengthen the company’s global presence in compliance, marketing, product, and sales. 

Each based in the US, Edward Bedrosian Jr has been appointed as Xpoint’s new Chief Regulatory & Compliance Officer, Tom Webb is the firm’s new Chief Marketing Officer, Lana Lagow and Raul Bouchot have both been hired as Senior Business Development Managers, while Alli Rubin joins Xpoint as a Product Manager.

Becoming Xpoint’s new Chief Regulatory & Compliance Officer, Bedrosian Jr’s experience includes four years as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, and as a Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. 

Webb brings with him over 25 years of experience in global marketing and communications from the sports betting and igaming industry to his new CMO role. His past roles also include in Formula 1, the Olympic Games, Major League Soccer, and Red Bull. 

As one of Xpoint’s two new Senior Business Development Managers, Lagow has over 30 years of experience supporting businesses. She most recently worked in the high-risk payments industry, where she has developed many relationships with operators and consultants in sports betting, daily fantasy sports (DFS), igaming, and tribal gaming.

Joining Lagow as a Senior Business Development Manager is Bouchot, who has worked in business development in the sports betting, igaming, and gambling industry in the US for nearly 30 years. He has previously held senior leadership roles with IGT, Poker Tec, and Nuvei.

Alli Rubin joins Xpoint as its new Product Manager, a role she previously held with FanDuel since 2019, managing casino and sportsbook product experimentation and optimization. She has also worked as a Systems Analyst at Vitech Systems Group.

Sanderson added: “Ed’s experience speaks for itself. A former Executive Director of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and a seasoned attorney, he will lead our compliance and regulation team.

“Tom is a key hire for us, taking on the opportunity to build the Xpoint brand and bringing decades of experience working with some of the most famous brands worldwide. Lana and Raul are also vital additions to our team, strengthening our base in the USA and bringing over 50 years of combined sales and business development skills to Xpoint.

“Finally, we’re proud that Alli took up the opportunity to join Xpoint from FanDuel. Her experience and knowledge of how one of the world’s biggest operators works is going to add real value to our team.”

Earlier this month, Xpoint became the official geolocation partner of motorsport sports betting startup GridRival, a motorsport multi-series sports betting and fantasy gaming brand with games based on popular motorsport series such as Formula One and MotoGP.
