Aggregator and content provider Pariplay and slot specialist Quickspin have received supplier licenses from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) ahead of the province’s igaming market launch on April 4.

Being awarded a gaming-related supplier license, Aspire Global’s Pariplay will be allowed to provide its premium aggregation offering in Ontario.

The provider already has plans to go live with several major operators and partners as soon as the province’s market opens. Its Fusion aggregation platform features titles and localized content from 80+ vendors, as well as engagement tools.

Pariplay’s Ontario license is part of its growth across North America, having recently gone commercially live in Alberta, alongside its West Virginia and Michigan licenses.

Adrian Bailey, Managing Director at Pariplay, stated: “We are very pleased to be granted our Ontario license, which allows us to build on our success and bringing relevant and varied content to regulated markets.

“We’ve made a concerted effort to grow our reach in Canada both through signing new partners and gaining new licenses, and this approach continues to generate success for us. It is an exciting time at Pariplay and we can’t wait to get started in Ontario.”

As previously mentioned, Playtech Group’s Quickspin has also received a supplier license from the AGCO.

The slots specialist is now allowed to provide titles such as Big Bad Wolf Megaways, and Golden Glyph 1 & 2 to players in the province.

Founded in 2011, Quickspin is a development studio for real money and social casino gaming, licensed in multiple jurisdictions with agreements with several leading operators.

“I’m very pleased that Quickspin will be open for business as the igaming market launches in Ontario, and we look forward to supporting our partners with our award-winning portfolio as they move to enter into the new market,” commented Anthony Dalla-Giacoma, Chief Commercial Officer at Quickspin.

Daniel Lindberg, CEO and Founder of Quickspin, added: “Quickspin and the igaming industry, in cooperation with regulators such as the AGCO, will create a healthy, sustainable, and safe experience for players, operators, and providers in Ontario.

“The Quickspin team has done an excellent job of getting this project over the line, enabling us to be live with our top-performing titles when the market opens on the fourth of April.”

Earlier this week, the RGC announced that its RG Check Accreditation program had been integrated into the entry requirements for the igaming market in Ontario by iGaming Ontario.
