The casino gaming provider Wazdan has gained entrance into its third North American state after securing a license to operate in Michigan

It marks the 19th key jurisdiction that the firm has gained access to following its entrance into the Dutch market recently.

After clearing all regulatory hurdles in the Great Lake State, Wazdan can now provide video slots to the regulated state following similar legislative recognition in the United States for New Jersey and West Virginia.

This latest deal continues the firm’s growth in North America, having signed a ‘major commercial deal’ with Light & Wonder.

Michal Imiolek, Chief Operating Officer at Wazdan MI LLC, said: “We are very pleased to receive our license for Michigan, which marks our 19th regulated market certification.

“We work tirelessly to ensure our games meet the rigid standards expected by the industry’s regulators. North America has been a huge growth area for the business, and we can’t wait to hit the ground running in the state!”
