White Hat Studios, a division of White Hat Gaming, has named Andy Whitworth as its new CEO to help with its ongoing US expansion.

Whitworth most recently served as White Hat Gaming’s Chief Commercial Officer, and brings over 19 years of gaming experience, including at C-level and director roles with Entain, NetEnt, and SG Digital.

As White Hat Studios’ go-live date approaches, the division has made several changes to its team, welcoming new starters including Armen Tatarevic, who will lead the studio’s US account management team.

Whitworth commented: “Our goal is to become one of the top game suppliers in the US market, bringing not only high-quality content, but also high-quality service to our customers. We have been going at an unprecedented speed, so it was important for us to follow up by carefully selecting the right people and build an industry-leading team at White Hat Studios.

“Combined with an exceptional portfolio of games, including our very own Jackpot Royale mechanic, which will inject life into the current online jackpot offering, as well as massive brands like Ted, Deal or No Deal and many more, we are very confident to hit our ambitious targets and shake up the market.”

White Hat Studios was launched in 2021 and offers slots, jackpots, RNG, table, and instant-win titles, with goals to ‘consistently deliver new games and market-leading jackpot mechanics’. Its slot and table content are also specifically designed for US players.

Earlier this month, White Hat Studios signed a content deal with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG).
