Sports betting and casino game provider Tipico has announced a long-term partnership agreement with Columbus Crew, becoming the official and exclusive sports betting partner of the MLS franchise.
The firm’s mobile sports wagering app will go live once sports betting is legalized in Ohio, pending appropriate licensing and regulatory approvals.
Through the partnership, Tipico will receive entitlement rights to Crew assets (Tipico Beer Garden and Tipico Club) and brand integration throughout Lower.com Field, home of the MLS team. The two parties will also create digital content and engagements as well as joint community programming.

Tipico will also announce opportunities for registered users to take part in promotions, giveaways, and sweepstakes through collaborative programs and co-created club activations, subject to licensing and forthcoming regulations.

In November last year, Tipico launched its proprietary online casino for consumers in the New Jersey market.
