Strive Gaming, the North American-facing igaming platform business, has named former Kambi Chief Commercial Officer Max Meltzer as CEO.
Meltzer spent five years with Kambi’s executive management team where he was responsible for developing and delivering a market entry strategy in the US following the repeal of PASPA. In his new CEO role, he will now lead Strive Gaming’s stated aim of becoming the number one igaming platform provider in North America.
His appointment comes shortly after Strive Gaming named Damian Xuereb, formerly VP of Sales at Kambi, as President and Chief Commercial Officer. The firm’s executive management team comprises some of the brightest talents in the industry including CTO Jesse Cary, formerly of Bede Gaming.
Meltzer commented: “Strive to be the best is an internal company motto. As CEO of Strive Gaming I want to give back to an industry that has given me so much – this includes creating a company and a work culture that supports diversity, health and people’s personal responsibilities.
“We are a company that allows people to strive to be their best selves and be part of something exciting, helping propel Strive Gaming to become the market leader in this space. We encompass market leading player platform technology with a passion to excel and innovate even further.
“The interest in Strive Gaming since it launched has been nothing short of phenomenal and we are glad that our proposition fits the market needs with our focus on performance at scale and we look forward to announcing our initial customers soon.”
The company completed a Series A investment round earlier this year to expedite build out of its US and Canada infrastructure, and is currently going through licensing in multiple other US states including a mobile wagering bid in New York.
