Slotegrator, a leading igaming software and business solutions provider, has published a new report on the rapidly emerging sports betting and gaming markets in Latin America and their inherent growth potential.

Said the firm: “While all eyes are on Brazil in anticipation of the country’s planned rollout of its new sports betting regulations – expected to come into effect in mid-2021 – the broader Latin America region offers multiple other opportunities for new online casinos or established brands looking to expand.

“Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina all have sizable populations with a passion for betting. Brazil is one of a number of countries across the region that have plans to liberalize their legislation and begin issuing licenses.”

According to Slotegrator, overall, revenues are rising at “an astonishing pace”. The firm noted: “Online casino gaming and sports betting is estimated to generate $450m in revenues in Mexico, and the overall value of the Brazilian sports betting market is anticipated to reach $1bn within the first five years of the market’s opening.”

The company also hailed the steady increase of mobile and internet penetration spreading access to online casino gaming and sports betting throughout the populace of a number of different nations with well-documented cultural passions for betting.

The full report can be accessed in the Academy section of Slotegrator’s website, offering a detailed, country-by-country look at one of the world’s most promising emerging markets.
