SBC‘s Sue Schneider is hosting a sports betting networking session today as part of this week’s virtual G2E show after the decision to cancel this year’s physical exhibition due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The VP for Growth & Strategy, Americas at SBC will be chairing a session discussing the overlap between sports betting and igaming at 4.15pm EDT. Anyone wishing to attend should register using this link – http://g2e2020.com/networking5.The latest software version of Zoom will also be necessary for participation.

Schneider commented: “There are lots of interesting discussions to be had about how igaming and sports betting are moving forward in the US. In spite of Covid, or maybe because of it, we’re seeing more jurisdictions legalize these gaming activities. Come join us to hear the latest.”

The schedule for the virtual G2E was released last month, with the two-day program including keynotes, education sessions, business meetings, and networking opportunities.

AGA Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Responsibility Cait DeBaun commented: “G2E always brings the gaming industry together to learn, share innovation, and conduct business that will chart the future of gaming.

“While we all wish we could be together in Las Vegas, we’re excited to bring some of the G2E experience to attendees and exhibitors all over the world.”

G2E Event Director Korbi Carrison added: “As the industry continues to navigate reopening, G2E’s virtual offering will reconvene the G2E community to advance our collective recovery,

“This platform allows us to bring the G2E experience directly to attendees wherever they are, providing access to education, and enabling the connections that make the in-person event special.”

The two-day program will convene thought leaders to share perspectives on pressing topics including COVID-19 recovery, payments modernization, tribal gaming, what’s next for legalized sports betting in America, and more. G2E’s virtual platform will also enable exhibitors and buyers to conduct business through virtual showrooms, product demos, AI-driven matchmaking, and one-on-one meetings.
