Online entertainment platform Strendus has signed a deal to become the new sponsor of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP), the national basketball league from Mexico, also known as Liga Sisnova LNBP.
The betting site from Logrand Entertainment will broadcast the games via streaming through its different digital channels, in order to create added value for basketball fans in Mexico.
Under the terms of the sponsorship deal, Strendus and the LNBP will implement additional entertainment tools to improve fans’ experience, while the betting site’s logo will appear on broadcasts from LNBP games.
“It’s an honor for Strendus to sponsor the LNBP,” said Lenin Castillo, Online COO of Logrand Entertainment Group. “We’re reaffirming our commitment to promote a sports culture in the country. We’re confident that with this, we will be able to grow the interest around basketball in new generations and support all the teams that are part of this league.”
The President of the LNBP, Sergio Ganem, said: “We’re proud to have the support of a reliable, innovative and leading company in the entertainment industry like Strendus.
“This sponsorship allows us to offer new experiences to our fans and expand our fan base so that they feel more connected to the teams. We’re confident that this will raise the competitive level of the LNBP.”
Currently, basketball is one of the most popular sports in Mexico, attracting around 36% of all sports bets in the country.
