Digitain has set about “harnessing the unbridled potential of LatAm” as industry eyes focus on the opportunities presented by new regulation across the continent.

The sportsbook and casino platform provider will be in Lima from 19-20 June to showcase its full suite of solutions to delegates in Peru – one of a number of major LatAm countries working towards full market regulation.

The market in Peru is, at this stage, predominantly land-based. It is estimated that there are more than 80,000 slot machines on gaming sites distributed in 15 casinos and 700 gaming sites.

However, Digitain is ready for the expected online boom across the country, where 119 per cent mobile penetration (number of mobile subscriptions divided by number of people) compares favorably with the continent’s average of 109 per cent.

The company believes that its sportsbook solution and associated trading tools are “tailor made for the demands of live betting”. In an interview with SBC earlier this year, it said that up to 70 per cent of betting volume through its operators was coming via mobile channels.

Suren Khachatryan, Digitain CCO, said: “It’s a thrilling time for us to be debuting in Lima. With so much core development and innovation already behind us, coupled to many exciting new deals with both established and rising stars, Digitain now looks forward to growing in accordance with those advances, harnessing the unbridled potential of LatAm.

“All sectors and channels of gaming are catered for under one roof at the Jockey Exhibition Center in a conference which caters for the rapidly growing needs the Latin America. To that end, we’ve been working hard to forge fresh casino alliances recently and are aiming to furnish our platform with progressive products from the best suppliers in the business.

“We can’t wait to catch up with existing partners, and meet new clients with whom we can broaden our mutual horizons. Furthermore, with so many thought leaders and government officials on site to discuss upcoming regulatory changes in key jurisdictions, it’s truly a must-make event. I look forward to welcoming you alongside our friendly team at Stands 54+53.”

Digitain has increased its reach across emerging markets in the last 12 months, opening sales and business development offices in the Philippines, South Africa and South America, as well as in the UK. The company’s sportsbook platform now offers odds on 65 different sports, 7,500 leagues and more than 3,000 betting markets, including 35,000 live events each month.
