UK & IRE online sports betting group Argyll Entertainment has moved to rebrand its REDZONESPORTS.BET property as it seeks to strengthen its position for potential US growth in 2019.
The rebranding has been launched to coincide with December’s eagerly anticipated climax of the NFL’s regular season, looking to maximise a vital trading period by simplifying its US sports betting asset to Redzone.bet.
The fresh approach, comes after a complete upgrade of the Redzone site, which allowed the operator to further elevate its renowned US sports betting offering.
Commenting on the update, Redzone.bet’s managing director, Warren Llambias outlined: “In the United States, where the phrase ‘Redzone’ is understood by all sports fans, we’re exploring several invitations to partner with some iconic names in multiple territories and felt the extra emphasis on ‘sport’ wasn’t needed.”
Llambias further detailed that Redzone is readying for pivotal 2019, following landmark changes within the US gambling scene where the brand is currently working on a series of B2B partnerships.
“Moreover, after three years of operating in the UK, we are well known within the American sports customer base, who understand that our NFL prices are unrivalled,” he added. “This rebrand gives the opportunity to reach out further to the wider UK and Irish sports betting and the casino playing public.
“Forget the countdown to Christmas, we have already begun the countdown to Cheltenham and will be offering new and old customers alike some great racing prices and promotions over the coming months.”
