Sportradar, Revolution and Spectrum Gaming Sports Group will host their 2nd annual summit focused on the new frontier of regulated sports betting on Thursday this week. Taking place at Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington DC, the morning gathering will address a number of key issues facing stakeholders and regulators in the ongoing roll out of legalized US sports betting.

Among the topics up for discussion and debate across four panels will be proper regulatory and integrity frameworks, insight into state efforts thus far, and the possibility of federal legislation.

Kicking off proceedings will be a panel looking into states’ efforts to regulate sports betting. Speakers will comprise Art Manteris, Station Casinos; State Representative Brandt Iden, Michigan Legislature; State Senator Bill Coley, Ohio Legislature; and Stanton Dodge, DraftKings Inc. Joe Weinert of Spectrum Gaming Group will moderate the session.

That panel will be followed by a ‘Fireside Chat’ with Monumental Sports’ Ted Leonsis before a second panel which addresses protecting the integrity of sport in the post-PASPA environment. Moderated by Sportradar’s Andy Cunningham, the speaker line-up will comprise Naima Stevenson, National Collegiate Athletic Association; Jeff Stonebreaker, MLS; and Dan Spillane, NBA.

The morning’s business will come to a close with the final panel assessing the federal outlook on US sports betting. Delegates can look forward to contributions from Keith Whyte, National Council on Problem Gambling; Danielle Her Many Horses, National Indian Gaming Association; Christian Genetski, FanDuel Group, Inc; and Clarence A. Nesbitt, National Basketball Players’ Association. Moderation is courtesy of Daniel Wallach, Wallach Legal, LLC.
