Despite a lot of US chatter quite rightly regarding the growth of its sports betting scene since the downfall of PASPA in May, internet gaming is another area very much on the rise amongst the nation’s players.

Amongst the organisations looking to be a significant part of this up-shift is Evolution Gaming, recently unveiling its New Jersey live casino studio, and promptly announcing deals with 888casino, Resorts, Hard Rock, Ocean Resort and PlaySugarHouse, operated by Rush Street Interactive, within the Garden State.

We are always monitoring the market, and have seen how the numbers have been growing month on month

The state has also see a steady increase in its internet gaming win, and James Stern, Evolution’s director of business development & land-based sales, has been addressing why the scene has continued to go from strength-to-strength, as well why and how his firm will enhance what is already on offer: “We are always monitoring the market, and have seen how the numbers have been growing month on month. There are various reasons for this, but it could in part be due to the increased number of operators and providers in the market, with more content being made available.

“Our entry into New Jersey delivers players with a world-class live casino playing experience like no other. Our live games portfolio never stands still, so there really is something for everyone.

“In terms of our offering, our studio went live with ten tables from day one, and operating 16 hours a day, seven days a week. Evolution also has exclusive licensed games such as three card poker and ultimate texas hold’em, which players are familiar with from the land-based casinos, and are already performing very well and proving popular with players.

“…We already have plans for more tables opening in the next quarter…”

“As stated with our proven portfolio we already have plans for more tables opening in the next quarter – including new game variants. At Evolution we are constantly looking to differentiate our licensees’ live casinos in every way possible.”

Before delving into a further aspect of Evolution’s offering, that Stern believes could drive success further still: “That’s without even mentioning our dual play solution, which delivers true convergence that bring together land-based and online casino play at the same on-premise table.

“Our dual play installations enable the live gaming action at land-based venues to be enjoyed not only by those on-premise seated players, but to a vastly extended audience of online players.

“Not only does it allow remote players to ‘visit’ the venue from virtually anywhere in the world on desktop, tablet and smartphone, it also allows players in the venue to continue to play when in the bar or restaurant area.

“Players online are given a multi-camera view of the action at the table, with camera views switching to give players the feeling of being at the actual table when they cannot make it there in person, as well as ensuring the highest levels of reassurance for operators in terms of game integrity and risk.”

The options and scope to drive incremental revenue are vast”

As both sports betting and igaming continue to gather in popularity within certain jurisdictions where operations have commenced, Stern concluded by addressing if cross-promotion could be developed for the mutual benefit of each vertical: “As we have seen and proven with our customer base, there are huge opportunities to cross-sell live casino through other verticals and attractions, such as sports betting or land-based venues.

“The options and scope to drive incremental revenue are vast. Live casino lends itself very well to tying in value-add campaigns, whether that may be with major sporting or cultural events.

“Our studio is set up to allow licensees to operate dedicated tables which will allow them to run unique promotions on these tables. And with our direct game launch functionality we can look to give visibility and direct access to the table wherever it is placed on the operator’s website.”
