Pennsylvanians are to be able to access iLottery and mobile games for the first time, following an agreement between Scientific Games Corporation and the Pennsylvania Lottery.

PA iLottery is to offer opportunities to win up to $250,000, and marks the debut launch of a combination of Scientific Games’ digital lottery products, with those from its NYX Gaming Group acquisition.

Launched as a part of series of legislative initiatives, which also includes Keno and virtual sports, consumers can access the interactive games across computer, tablet and mobile devices.

Drew Svitko, Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director, stated: “Pennsylvania iLottery games are a fun, new way to play and win from home or while on the go.

“iLottery is a big part of our effort to meet our players where they already are while generating new funds to benefit older Pennsylvanians.”

Adding: “By law, PA iLottery players must be physically located in the state of Pennsylvania to play for money and win prizes.

“As with all Lottery games, we urge players to play responsibly and always within their means.”

Coming complete with Scientific Games’ responsible gaming controls, PA iLottery also features a number of player-controlled settings, including time limits, deposit limits and spend limits, which players can configure to suit their personal play style and budget.

Players can also take a “cool off” break of up to 30 days, or self exclude entirely for one or five years.

Pat McHugh, Senior Vice President of Global Lottery Systems for Scientific Games, commented: “Scientific Games has a long history of investing in innovative games, technology and services that maximise Lottery funds to benefit older Pennsylvanians.

“Our partnership with the Pennsylvania Lottery has resulted in one of the highest performing lotteries in the world.

“Now we are thrilled to combine Scientific Games and NYX’s market-leading capabilities to offer entertaining digital games to Pennsylvania Lottery players, and to continue our support of Pennsylvania Lottery retailers with the iLottery affiliate program.”

Matt Davey, Chief Executive Officer of SG Digital, added: “The combination of Scientific Games and NYX earlier this year created a global digital leader across iLottery, iGaming and sports betting that offers a breadth of technology, content and managed services to the Pennsylvania Lottery and lotteries worldwide.

“As an integrated company, together we are very excited to support the Pennsylvania Lottery in its launch of new, expanded gaming entertainment in digital channels.”
